About Sakinah Treasures

This website is operated by Sakinah Treasures. References to Sakinah, we, us and our in these terms mean Sakinah Treasures.

You can contact us about an order, these terms or our products at sakinahtreasures@gmail.com.

Our website is intended primarily for customers in the United Kingdom. We currently deliver throughout the United Kingdom unless a product page or checkout states otherwise.

02

Using the Website

You may use this website for lawful personal shopping and information. You must be legally capable of entering into a purchase and must provide complete and accurate information when ordering.

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your sign in details confidential and for activity carried out through your account. Please tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without permission.

You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce harmful code, interfere with its operation, copy it for commercial purposes or use automated tools to extract content without permission.

We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect customers, the website or our business.

03

Our Products

We take reasonable care to describe and photograph our products accurately. Colours can appear differently depending on lighting, photography and screen settings. Measurements and weights are approximate unless stated otherwise.

Handmade Character

Handmade and artisan pieces may show small variations in shape, finish, pattern or placement. These details form part of their individual character and are not faults where the item remains consistent with its description.

Natural Materials

Natural stones, wood, marble and similar materials can vary in colour, veining, markings and texture. Each piece may therefore be unique.

Packaging

We aim to present every order beautifully. Packaging may occasionally vary from photographs while remaining suitable and of comparable quality.

Availability

All products are subject to availability. Placing an item in your basket does not reserve it.

Product descriptions, care instructions and safety warnings shown on a product page form part of these terms. If you require an item for a particular purpose, please contact us before ordering so we can advise whether it may be suitable.

04

Orders and Contract

  1. Review your order. Please check the products, quantities, personalisation, delivery address and charges before submitting payment.
  2. Order received. An order confirmation acknowledges that we have received your order. It does not necessarily mean the order has been accepted.
  3. Order accepted. A contract is formed when we send your dispatch confirmation, unless we clearly confirm acceptance earlier.
  4. Separate dispatches. Where items are dispatched separately, each dispatch may form a separate contract for the items it contains.

Please contact us promptly if you notice an error. We will try to help, but we cannot guarantee a change once preparation, personalisation or dispatch has begun.

We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance if an item is unavailable, payment cannot be authorised, information appears incomplete or inaccurate, a price is clearly incorrect, delivery is not possible, purchase limits have been exceeded or we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse. If payment has been taken, it will be refunded.

05

Prices and Payment

  • Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include applicable taxes where required.
  • Delivery charges are displayed before payment is completed.
  • Available payment methods are shown at checkout and may change from time to time.
  • Payment must be authorised before an order can be accepted.
  • You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

We take reasonable care to ensure prices are correct. If a genuine pricing error is discovered before acceptance, we may contact you for instructions or cancel the affected item and issue a refund. We will not knowingly rely on an obviously incorrect price.

06

Delivery

Delivery services, estimates and charges are explained on our Delivery Information page and at checkout. Delivery estimates begin after dispatch and are not guaranteed unless we expressly agree a specific deadline.

We will deliver without undue delay and within 30 days of the contract unless another period has been agreed with you.

Please provide a complete and accurate delivery address. If a parcel is returned because the address was incorrect, incomplete or the parcel was not collected, reasonable redelivery charges may apply.

Care Until It Reaches You

The risk of loss or damage remains with us until you, or a person you identify to receive the parcel, takes physical possession of the goods.

If an event outside our reasonable control causes delay, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect and keep you informed where appropriate. Your legal rights concerning serious or prolonged delay remain unaffected.

07

Cancellations, Returns and Faulty Goods

Changing Your Mind

For most goods purchased online, you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of receiving them. Once you notify us, you normally have a further 14 days to return the goods. Certain legal exceptions apply, including some personalised items and some sealed hygiene goods once unsealed.

Faulty or Incorrect Goods

Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for their intended purpose and as described. If an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, you may have rights to a refund, repair or replacement under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Full instructions, conditions and refund information appear on our Returns and Refunds page. That policy forms part of these terms and does not affect your statutory rights.

08

Product Care and Safety

Please read and follow all instructions, labels, age guidance and warnings supplied with a product. Use each item only for its intended purpose.

Bakhoor and Burners

Place burners on a stable heat resistant surface in a well ventilated area. Keep away from flammable materials, children and pets. Never leave burning charcoal, incense, candles or heated products unattended. Allow the burner to cool fully before handling or cleaning.

Fragrance and Perfume

Follow the product directions and ingredient information. Fragrance products are for external or aromatic use as stated. Avoid contact with eyes and damaged skin. Stop use if irritation occurs and seek appropriate advice where needed. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Jewellery and Stones

Jewellery may contain small parts and is not intended as a toy. Consider personal metal sensitivities before use. Plating and natural materials can change with wear, moisture, cosmetics or fragrance. Follow the care guidance provided.

Children’s Products

Observe the age recommendation and any safety warning. Adult supervision may be required. Inspect products regularly and stop use if an item becomes damaged or presents a hazard. Keep packaging away from children.

Home and Decorative Items

Display items on a stable surface or use suitable wall fixings for the surface and product weight. Keep fragile, heavy or sharp items away from edges and areas accessible to children.

Clothing and Textiles

Follow garment and textile care instructions. Colours and finishes may change through washing, heat, sunlight, fragrance or unsuitable cleaning products.

Unless expressly stated, our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent a medical condition. Religious, cultural or traditional descriptions are provided respectfully and do not constitute professional advice.

09

Promotions, Codes and Gift Cards

  • Promotions and discount codes may have their own eligibility, product, value, date or usage conditions.
  • Unless stated otherwise, only one promotional code can be used per order.
  • A code has no cash value and cannot normally be applied to an order already completed.
  • We may refuse or withdraw a promotion where it has expired, a genuine error has occurred or we reasonably believe there has been misuse.
  • Gift cards, where offered, are subject to the conditions shown when purchased and cannot be exchanged for cash except where required by law.

Additional terms displayed with a competition, giveaway, preorder or special collection will form part of these terms for that offer.

10

Intellectual Property and Content

The Sakinah name, logo, photographs, product presentation, artwork, graphics, copy, website design and other content belong to Sakinah Treasures or are used with permission. They are protected by applicable intellectual property law.

You may view and use the website for personal shopping. You must not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, publish or commercially exploit our content without written permission.

If you submit a review, photograph or other content, it must be truthful, lawful and your own or supplied with permission. You allow us to display and use that content for operating and promoting Sakinah Treasures, while you retain any rights you already hold. Please do not include private information you do not want made public.

11

Our Responsibility to You

We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. Loss is foreseeable where it was an obvious consequence or was contemplated by both you and us when the contract was formed.

We supply goods for private and domestic use. If you use a product for business or commercial purposes, we are not responsible for loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity or business interruption, to the extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or breach of your statutory consumer rights.

We are not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of third party websites or platforms linked from our website. Their own terms apply when you use them.

12

General Terms

Events Outside Our Control

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by an event outside our reasonable control. We will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect and will respect any cancellation or refund rights that apply.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to our business, services or legal obligations. The terms in force when your order is accepted will normally apply to that order.

Severance and Waiver

If part of these terms is found unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining terms will continue. A delay in enforcing a right does not mean that right has been waived.

Transfer and Third Party Rights

We may transfer our rights and obligations to another organisation where this does not reduce your rights. You may transfer your rights only with our written agreement or where the law permits. No other person has a right to enforce your contract with us.

Privacy

Our use of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law and Courts

These terms and your purchase are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in the courts where you live.
