Ayatul Kursi Marble Artwork

Intricate Qur’anic calligraphy, turquoise ornament and natural marble come together in a richly detailed artwork for the home.

Production and finish

The design is professionally printed onto genuine marble, allowing the stone’s natural veining and texture to remain visible within the finished piece. It is then set into a wooden frame with an aged cream and gold finish.

Design and meaning

Ayatul Kursi, the Verse of the Throne from Surah Al Baqarah, is presented in flowing black calligraphy surrounded by turquoise, blue and gold ornament. Its careful detail gives the piece a luminous and reverent presence.

Ottoman inspiration

The use of calligraphy, richly patterned borders and decorative tile like surfaces draws inspiration from artistic traditions that flourished across the Ottoman world. This piece is a contemporary decorative work inspired by that heritage rather than an antique.

Create a meaningful focal point in a living room, entrance, study or prayer space. It can be hung on a suitable wall fixing or placed on a compatible stand on a stable table or shelf.

Natural variations

As marble is a natural material, variations in veining, texture and tone may occur. These individual characteristics are part of the stone’s natural character and make every piece subtly distinctive.

Care

Handle carefully as marble and wooden frames can be damaged by knocks or drops. Keep dry, avoid direct sunlight and strong heat, and wipe gently with a soft dry cloth. Do not use water, sprays or chemical cleaners on the printed surface or frame.
